I wanted to say that these last couple of days I haven’t put any attention to this blog or given any thought of what I would like to write.  Sorry about how incredibly short this is and I guess I’ll put this as note in case I take awhile to update. Possible hiatus. Maybe, I don’t know, it could just be a big time gap between posts.

For the majority of JE/H!P fans, this idea is pretty old, but I’d feel left out if I didn’t post this here as well. I still think that if they ever got together, they would have the cutest eyelidless baby.

Oh, and elephants aren’t the only lucky ones.

Also, since I never got a chance to post (I lie. I kept forgetting) these musings, I’ll just dump them here. It’s bad a habit for me to keep doing this, but.. I don’t care. XD

While showing something I had drawn to TU, I ended up showing him the Ai Gasa PV and talking about Tego. I know, me talking about Tego, how strange. For anyone that knows me anyway. Because I’m lazy, I’ll copypaste this comments. This has a point.. sort of.

The first time I actually put attention to Massu in a picture, was this, and thought, “Ha, looks like Mako”. Soli even mentioned it on her own as well. Of course, Mako has a more pronounced chin (sharper? is that it?) and there’s countless differences, but at first glance that’s what I thought. It was nice to know I wasn’t crazy. Now, TU mentioned this:

“You could probably put together a complete set of morning Musume lookalikes from JE and Korean boy pop groups.
Which means that you could do it the other way around too — put MoMusu members in JE and korean boy groups so that they’d look like they belonged there.”

That was harmless fun, but it made think about one detail of their clothing. Not so much the crazy, over the top, sequin love outfits (H!P and JE already have that 8D) but uh, the fact that either the girls would have to shirtless like the boys, and the boys would be force to wear those itty bitty shorts or skirts. Or bikini PBs. Not that it would be much of a stretch. They’re already forced to crossdress. Shirtless H!P would be too AV though.

Oh. I never did mention Aiba’s ears? I like them. They remind me of Ouran ears. They’re really nice.

C’moooon. Don’t tell me you don’t get our pun. D: We’re not that bad. It’s Heechul. And it has red. Besides, the whole “GIVE ME LOVE” pretty much sums him up. As for an actual review of the PV… let’s say I’m not a big Reina fan. The song irks in certain parts but the PV definitely makes up for it, so I’m okay with it. Y’know, with the PV having a proper set and all, I’m sort of impressed. I’m still curious over how the style will help promote the musical. And I know the reactions have been mixed, but I still like the dance. Feel free to question and judge my taste. Then again, this whole blog is a big question mark on my judgement. : D

With Saki, even if her voice is pretty ‘manly’ sometimes, I still like my breakdancing Saki. Her saggy right eye bugs me a bit, but it’s not enough to overthrow my appreciation (it hasn’t reached the love stage yet) of her. Maimi’s a bit off for me though. Doesn’t quite stick in. I like Yuuka’s hat. That’s about all. Sure, her voice is cute, but does H!P really need someone that sounds like Momoko? Er, I’m positive about this, really. I’m sorry. D: I’ll go as far and say that I’m starting to like Takahashi more. I was stuck on neutral with her for the longest time. Going back to that Rella thing…

This is going to be fairly short, but… hadwanted to post about FTI’s new music video from their mini album in Japanese. *notes self to download*

OMFG. They look beautiful. Hongki looks so nice… Love the hair. Jonghun is mndbeiufbweifbhw OKAY. I’m trying SO hard not to be incoherent but Jonghun is my favorite so I had to. He deserves keyboardsmashing from me because that boy is GORGEOUS. Wonbin’s hair is lovely, Jaejin looks adorable and I can’t really say anything about Minhwan because… Something about his hair I don’t like. For him, anyway. D:

The PV; it’s noticeable that it’s for the japanese audience. I mean, it reminds me of SID (Jrock) but Hongki’s voice makes it different. Only reason why I liked it. Wonbin was given more screen time and Hongki wasn’t the lead singer here and it was more of a duet. Didn’t mind it much, but… I kind of expected it. Overall, I fricken loved it. The song was real nice, again, Hongki’s voice made it so worthwhile. Their japanese made me smile. It reminded me of something but I can’t exactly put my finger on it.

I wonder why the majority of the Korean idols are going over to Japan… Is the industry much better there? I know how much it has benefit DBSK and BoA, so I guess that’s why. For the Japanese fans. Now Super Junior is going to Japan and I’m not too sure how I feel about it. I guess I wouldn’t mind listening to them sing in Japanese. :3

It’s a bit strange that I’m making this post today when the idea was brought up by a friend months ago. My first reaction to the video was the obvious “Yankii dance off?! AWESOME 8D” but when I showed it to TU, he came up with the idea of a fangirl battle. The idea has been stuck to my mind ever since but I never took the time to express it. I’m still amazed at how TU can understand all of it and make up these ideas when the stuff I tell him it’s just mindless ranting. Anyway! Could you imagine it? Fangirls are already rabid enough and with weapons, a massacre would ensue.

Take a moment, imagine yourself walking down the streets with your friends, ready to face off with whoever has a different opinion than you. Okay, I was a bit sarcastic on the last line. But you know what I mean! Don’t you just want to smack some people out of, unjustified, biased anger? Of course, I’m handling this in a purely fictional manner, because even if I’m ’slightly’ violent and crazy, I wouldn’t want to end up in something like that. I’m a wimp. I rather take a sadistic approach to it. A very distant approach too.

But, hey, I like to think of imaginary scenarios all the time, so let’s say I’d pick a machete. A guy friend of mine always pictures me with an axe, but a machete seems much more appropriate for me. My family had two in my old house as well. Plus, it’s a fairly common thing where I live. It would represent me well, I happen to think they look awesome. XD Juju prefers a bat and a friend of mine, rui would pick an axe. Pfft, I dared to insult Jin’s slutty hips and she was already sharpening the damned thing.

Also, take a moment to imagine the outfits! There’s already enough groups and cliches within fandom, so it’d be kind of cool to picture different outfits for groups and such. As strange as it may seem, the idea came from those pictures of wota wearing all those idol goods. I know I should probably consider it creepy and inappropriate, but sometimes I just like all the fangear. Wouldn’t an Eito Ranger helmet/cap be cute? You could even sew the infinity sign on the back of your pants. Don’t get me started with SuJu, there’s so many personalized stuff you could do that the possibilities would be endless. AHAHA ENDLESS LOVE. *retarded joke*

Actually, while I wrote that cheap attempt of humor I finally remembered the original reason why I intended to write this. Here, click this. It’s that “Hip To Be square” clip from American Psycho. While at the moment I was amused by it.. I couldn’t help but think of all the occasions fans get.. y’know, dangerous. But any intention I had to make this serious was destroyed when I remembered my friend picturing me explaining my fandom to an unsuspecting victim (or hater, maybe?). It happened while I was explaining the reason behind the PV of “The Peace” to him as well. Oh, the coincidence. And in case you’re wondering, I didn’t do anything to him, really.

Since most of you (or at least the few people that take the time to look at the blog) know I’m not eloquent enough to make a thoughtful, deep discussion about the the world of fandom, I’m thinking of making this into more of a mindless, but fun discussion. And hey, the blog needed an update anyway.

I promise I didn’t edit this. I randomly paused to see the little boy’s shorts (don’t knock down my hobbies!) and… that happened. It’s a little movie I watched the other day. It had it’s share of “interesting” moments. And somehow, I’ve managed to creep out most of my friends with my screencaps of it. They’re nothing alike in personality. Hannie has his mannerisms and soft voice and little Mori is loud and gets excited over raiding vending machines.

That wasn’t the point. Look at those two screencaps. Sigh, it’d be great if he grew up to look like him. Even just a bit. *drools* All this came from Hannie’s hair in the last EHB episode. IT WAS THE BANGS.

I know this type of flailing is better left for LJ, but I barely use mine (or use it for something entirely different) and I just want to share my random observations whenever I feel like, which is pretty much why this blog exists.

UH-HA! Hey brother! HO bro- Wait no. Sorry, it’s the only song that could motivate me right now. As usual, I start off this post with something irrelevant, but I’m not going to even make a decent attempt at writing tonight.

I was supposed to write this months ago and somewhere along an RP distraction came in and I forgot. The reason I’m doing this is because I wanted to explain it to a friend and since I’ve had to repeat myself a couple of times, I’ll put it here so I can just link this instead of having to write it all over again. : D

The title of this post comes from two of the subgroups of MoMusu and SuJu. Subgroups were a primary reason why I started making comparisons between groups (besides their lineup) but it took me a while to realize something about Tanpopo’s first gen. I usually sticked with second gen Tanpopo because of it’s members. I had heard two of their songs and while I enjoyed them they didn’t provoke much of a feeling out of me. That, is until I heard this song. I’m not exactly sure what it is that I like about it, it just has a nice feeling to me… but I can’t really place it. Soothing, maybe? Because of that same video I started to look at each member differently when they were in Tanpopo and noticed that I could pair up the girls with each of the KRY boys. So, yes, that’s where the title comes from: Crying (KRY) Dandelion (Tanpopo). It’s not supposed to make much sense. XD

First off, the common thing about both groups is that they sang softer, slower songs songs. Now with the members, let’s start with Ishiguro Aya. Who do I pair her up with? Easy, Kyuhyun. They both had one of the best voices of their respective groups and to be honest, when I first saw them, I thought they looked kinda of… well, mean. Something about their expressions.

Next up, Johnson~! I’ve decided that Yesung could be her counterpart and at first I was a bit iffy at this. It’s because Yesung is pretty much Yasuda for me. Take for example how Yasuda was the common target in Utaban and that’s pretty much Yesung’s role in EHB. Instead I opted to take in consideration their roles within the subgroups at that time. Iida’s and Yesung’s voices are slightly deeper than the others, and they both have that “D:” expression to them. Besides, she was also picked on a lot of Utaban, yeah?

That would leave Mari and Wookie. Now, don’t bite my head off, I know that personality wise they’re complete opposites. Mari is that hyper active midget while Wookie is more of a Konkon/Kamei with his awkward sweetness. But.. that’s wasn’t always like that, right? When Mari joined she was shy and still hadn’t develop her personality, so by that time frame, it would be okay to compare them. A quality that they would share would be their voices, their pitch is slighter higher than the other two members. I can also say that they’re both the shortest ones of their group but.. Wookie’s shorter than the others by a few centimeters. Mari’s a different case. Oh! They were also the ones that stood for me the most. Mari with her height and face and Wookie with his.. cheekbones and fragile body. XD

Uff. Anyway, that’s done.. I think I’ll go do some WAHAHA flailing next.

Oh, so it is a circus show after all. Even so, I think it’s a pretty nifty picture. The outfits and poses cloud my judgment. I’ve never mentioned it before but I adore top hats. I even dressed up as a mad hatter once. Soli mentioned that Shiwon looked like the owner but I can’t help but think of Shindong as the evil circus manager with that expression. Sungmin’s pimpin’ with that pose. Meanwhile Leeteuk has a similar effect on me. With his body type, I’m imagining him as a leprechaun. And somewhere in the middle Donghae is making an attempt to take a chomp out of Kangin’s stick. : D

There’s also some comparisons I wanted to post but never found a way to do so, so this is the perfect excuse to do so.

While some people consider Buono to be the ultimate unit, I prefer las Gatas. Obviously, Yossy is the reason why. It’s great for me to see her involved in a group rather than fade into the background. The Gatas’ time might be short, but I’m enjoying it. I had a few favorites in their new album while some of the other songs were forgettable to me. That’s okay; it’s H!P. There are very few albums I end up enjoying completely.

The first time I noticed about Sawada Yuri (is Shiiman really one of her nicknames? XDD) was her dimples. And who else in SuJu has dimples? No, not emoteuk. Shiwon, of course!

….Is that even a valid reason to compare people?

Okay, okay, so they’re nothing alike and I couldn’t even find a proper picture where Shiwon showed his dimples. I.. I just needed a reason to post a picture of him. D:

Another Gata that I’ve taken an interest on is Mucchi.

At first I couldn’t explain what I found appealing about her. Maybe it was the haircut, or how she wasn’t the typically beautiful girl. It could have been the tomboy look that she had. In the strangest of ways I realized why. It was her awkwardness, simple as that. I’m not the type to relate to an idol, because, honestly I don’t think I share anything in common with my favorites. There is however that one tiny detail that most of them share. The awkwardness that they possess makes them interesting and likable to me as idols. If I had to choose at least one thing I could relate to, it would be that. It’s strange to appreciate that characteristic in them, often I get criticized for the way I am but at the same time, I’m happy whenever I can see someone’s quirky side emerge because of the way I act.

It’s not only her relatability but also the fact that she reminded me of someone. The Morimoto brothers in JE, specifically, Morimoto Ryuutaro. It has to be their weird smile. If it was based on looks, then she it would be the younger Morimoto brother, or any other junior. She still reminds me of someone look-wise but it could be some actress from the days I used to watch dramas.

Oh, oh! I got another retarded moment.

Great, new MM single title: Resonant Blue. BLUE. D: BLUE for SJC.. and SJ Sapphire color. And uh, Takahashi who’s the new face of MM /cough/ played a character named Sapphire, haaa. CONSPIRACY ANYBODY?
