13 Reasons to Love Super Junior
Welcome, welcome to our humble project!

Now, what are our 13 reasons? Each and every member of Super Junior. With this scrapbook we hope to show our love, support and dedication to each individual member, as well as Super Junior as a group – the group who has endeared our hearts with their presence. Each page will reflect the opinions and feelings of various fans.

In this project we plan to dedicate a whole scrapbook to our wonderful boys, Super Junior. Like all of you know, Super Junior celebrated their 2 year anniversary not long ago (I’m also fully aware of SJFH’s project), but I’m sure there are some who haven’t joined or didn’t have the chance to do their part in that project. Mind that this isn’t something that’s competing with their project or anything, because obviously, our gift is small and we’ve had this idea for a while now. We want to do something more (in addition) for them.

You’re all probably asking yourselves the hows, whats and whens, right?

First, I’ll explain the format of the scrapbook and how it will be divided into various parts with detailed explanations:

01. “Introduction”

This section is somewhat self-explanatory. Here we’ll explain to our boys what we’ve made for them and why we’ve done it.

02. “Greetings from…”

One of the purposes of the scrapbook was to demonstrate how international Super Junior’s fanbase is. We were thinking of a way on how to do this and then we came up with the “Greetings” section. So far, this section will be one page, it all depends on how many people join this project.

Now, to explain it: This might seem odd to you but we would like it if you could send a postcard, stamp or a picture that can showcase your country. The reason behind is that we want to make a collage with it. A cultural collage, maybe? If you decide to send a picture, please keep in mind that it shouldn’t be about you, but instead of where you live. Any pictures that you appear in won’t be included because we want to show your country, not yourself. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a picture – like I’ve said before, it can be a postcard, stamp, or just anything that’s related to your country that’s physically possible to fit in a page. You could even draw it if you want.

03. “And now we present to you…”

This page will have the title of our project to properly present our boys. Also, we have the idea for you to send in clips of paper with fun/supportive/quotes (things the boys have said) messages. Wary that they must be short and not a sentence long, probably two or three words long.

04. “The members”

Finally, we’re on the main essence of the project. The decorations, messages, all sorts of different dedications and where we all can get inspired enough to make something for Super Junior. We’re organizing the boys by age; meaning oldest first and youngest last (which makes sense with the whole Korean business of being the hyungs and dongsaengs). That means we’ll be starting off with Leeteuk and finishing with Kyuhyun, right?

Each member will get two pages and it will show like this:

After this we continue on in order of age until Sungmin. Now this is the best part:

In this section we want to create a comic of the boys and for the boys (I’m using that a lot). The storyline – we’re not sure of – but we’re open for suggestions. Any of you who know how to draw and would like to also add their piece of art, please send it in. We wanted to place this here because it’s about the best part of the project (at least we like to think so). We wanted to center the most creative part in the middle… right in between the boys. *coughs* Anyway, moving on…

06. “Continuation of part 04.”

Here we end our dedicatory with the rest of the members.

What we want you to send:
a) Decorations
*You can send stickers (in our case, we bought some Disney stickers that could represent members), paper clips, pieces of threads, colorful buttons, pictures of the boys and normal pictures (small ones), anything you think you can use to decorate a scrapbook. Obviously, all the things will be related to Super Junior and/or member of your liking. If you have any doubts feel free to comment. Keep in mind, that if your decoration is too big, we’ll manage to fit it into the page and if not, we’ll use it for the decorations of the cover of the scrapbook .

b) Messages
*The piece of paper should be width 3 1/4” and length 2”. As mentioned previously, the message should be 3 sentences long. You can send as many messages as you want, but only one per member. It’s not obligatory, but we made it this way for people who have more than one favorite.

c) Artwork
*We know there are some artists in you people! If you’ve ever wanted to illustrate a funny moment of the boys (Cinderella, or Kangin’s cow costume, Fishy Donghae, etc.) here’s your chance. The artwork that you send will be added after the comic idea (Fandom Section) and other types of drawings (such as chibis or doodles) will serve as decorations in the member’s page. The page size is 8.5’’x11’’ so it shouldn’t be bigger than that.

d) Postcards/stamps/pictures
*For this part, please re-read section 02.
